Garage Door Enterprises is a family-owned, operated, and certified women owned garage door company based in Chesapeake VA. Jonathan and Lisa (owners) started in the garage door industry back in 1995 (Lisa) and 2006 (Jonathan) working for the family business. They went on to open Garage Door Enterprises in October of 2008 out of Chesapeake, VA, where they and the business still reside. GDE has grown each and every year since its inception as Lisa and Jonathan strive to become more and more customer service oriented with their existing and always expanding customer base.

We, at GDE, enjoy serving all of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina, but really love serving Southern Chesapeake where we, our children, our parents, grandparents, multitudes of aunts, uncles, cousins and even great grandparents grew up and started their families. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t talk to someone who knows someone in one of our families in some way or another. With that comes a connection that can’t be replaced by a big box store or a national franchise garage door company. We hope and intend to be around for many years to come and be able to live up to the reputation of a real family owned, operated, and oriented garage door service company.
